CONCRETE CALCULATOR.

Not sure how much concrete you need? Our free concrete calculator makes it easy to estimate the volume of concrete required for your project.

Whether you're laying a patio, pouring a shed base, building an extension or planning a larger construction project, simply enter the length, width and required depth below to calculate the approximate amount of concrete you need in cubic metres.

You can calculate using metric or imperial measurements, and if you're unsure about your result, just speak to our experienced team. We'll be happy to discuss your project and provide a no-obligation quotation for delivery across East Sussex and Kent.

HOW DO I CALCULATE HOW MUCH CONCRETE I NEED?

Concrete is normally ordered by volume in cubic metres (m³). For a simple rectangular area, you can estimate the amount required using:

LENGTH × WIDTH × DEPTH = CONCRETE VOLUME

For example, a base measuring 4 metres long, 3 metres wide and 100mm deep would require approximately 1.2 cubic metres of concrete.

Our calculator above does this for you automatically. Simply enter the length, width and required depth using either metric or imperial measurements. As real excavations aren't always perfectly level, please speak to our team if you're unsure how much concrete to order.

WHAT ARE YOU CALCULATING CONCRETE FOR?

Our concrete calculator can be used for everything from small home and garden projects to larger building and construction work.

Whether you're calculating concrete for a patio, shed base, extension, foundations or a commercial project, use the calculator above to estimate the volume required, then explore the relevant services for your project below.
