We supply a range of different concrete grades with varying specifications, from C10 to C45. We have 40 years of experience in delivering concrete to our customers, so you can trust us to help you choose the right concrete for your job.
Choosing the right concrete grade for your project will depend on factors such as the strength of concrete required and its intended use. For example, we would recommend a different concrete mix for a shed base than if you were carrying out raft foundations or laying a new commercial or agricultural floor. You may even require fibre or retarder concrete for your project, which we can also supply.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONCRETE WE CAN PROVIDE
We can mix concrete to your exact specifications on-site, ensuring the concrete you order has the necessary strength, durability and setting time which is suitable for your particular job and application.
See the types of concrete we offer below and the usual applications for each particular mix. "C" stands for concrete and the number following "C" is the strength of the concrete and refers to weight in Newtons the concrete can withstand after 28 days of pouring. The higher the number, the stronger the concrete.

C10 / Gen 1 - Typically used for basic applications where structural requirements are minimal. It's often used for pathways and non-load bearing elements.

C15 / Gen 2 - This grade is ideal for shallow and small scale foundation work such as strip footings for small and lightweight structures like sheds and garages.

C20 / ST1 - Minimum cement content of 220kg per meter. This grade of concrete is a good choice for lightweight foundations on small domestic projects and domestic flooring. The minimum cement

C25 / ST2 - Minimum cement content of 255kg per meter. This a versatile and multi-purpose concrete mix, for numerous domestic and commercial jobs such as foundations and slabs.

C30 / ST3 - Minimum cement content of 330kg per meter. This is one of the most common concrete mixes used for paving construction, including driveways, stables and patios.

C35 / ST4 - Minimum cement content of 340kg per meter. One of the most durable concrete mixes, used for structural piling, large commercial slabs and in agricultural settings for yards and barns.

C40 / ST5 - Minimum cement content of 375kg per meter. One of the strongest commercial grades of concrete used in the construction of structural and supporting beams, footings and foundations for roadworks, HGV parks and agricultural yards.

C45 - A very high strength concrete mix which is suitable for heavy-duty construction, heavy structural requirements and agricultural settings.
HOW WE DELIVER & POUR YOUR CONCRETE.
Your high-quality concrete will be delivered by one of our uniformed team in one our new William The Concreter lorries.
We can pour your concrete either directly into the required space or we can pour it into wheelbarrows. While our delivery drivers will make every effort to help you on-site, we do ask that you provide sufficient man-power when taking delivery.
If the target area is difficult to access then we have a solution! We can pump your concrete from our lorries via groundline and boom pumps, pouring the mix wherever required.
